11 months!

Julia is 11 months old today. Oh how 11 months changes everything! When I think back on the past 11 months, I am so happy to be where we are today. Julia is doing so well. She is growing and she is happy and she is fun. Yeah for 11 months!!
Here are a few things she is up to:
1. She is really starting to think about crawling. She gets her knees under her and she wants to go places. Simply rolling has done the trick thus far, but she has her sights set on something bigger. She also gets up on her hands and pivots around in a circle to change directions.
2. She is finally sitting up like a champ and I can leave her anywhere sitting up. It is like heaven. Hallelujah!
3. She is growing like crazy!! We weighed her the other day and she is up to 18 lbs. Holy cow, that is huge! Will was only 17 lbs 6 oz at a year. This girl is a chubbalub.
4. She loves toys right now and we could sit and play with toys all day.
5. She loves her brother Will and thinks he is hillarious! She is constanly laughing at him, except when he thinks it is funny to push her over.
6. She is trying new foods everyday. Today we tried pasta and pears. She liked the pears, and once she got into the pasta she liked it. What she mostly likes right now is baby food pouches.
7. We are still doing glasses and patching.
8. She is talking a lot. She says "ma ma ma" and "ba ba ba". She also likes to say "ya ya" and lots of other baby sounds. Super cute!
9. She still only has those two bottom teeth, but I think I can see her top right tooth coming in. We shall see what comes next.
10. We are still working on the sleeping thing. Naps are great, and she goes to bed nice and early, she just likes to eat in the middle of the night. No wonder she is such a chunk.
Julia, we love you so much and are so grateful you came to our family! What a cute, fun little girl you have become. Can't wait to see what is instore next!

I took the tray off her highchair and she reclined and put her feet up. I thought that was pretty funny!

Trying pasta fort he first time.

She will always give me a smile, and what a cute smile that is!

Here she is all ready for church today. We tried the bow and the glasses. It was actually really successful and I think it was pretty cute in the end. We'll have to do it more often so she stops being called a boy. Darn hair won't grow!

Love ya Jules!

What a doll! I can't believe how similar our little girls are....totally agree that sitting up is HEAVEN! (Especially when you have a reflux baby and get conditioned to do anything but lay her down!) Wish I could meet them in person, maybe one day!
